UDHAMPUR, June 26: Agitated over supply of contaminated drinking water, people of Ramnagar held a strong protest demonstration against PHE Department at Bus Stand Ramnagar.
They raised slogans against PHE authorities and demanded stern action against the erring officials, who are responsible for supply of contaminated water. They alleged due a number of people, particularly kids, had fallen ill because of consumption of this contaminated water.
According to Bushan Kumar five kids were admitted in Sub District Hospital Ram Nagar only yesterday.
Prominent among those, who took part in protest demonstration, included Sham Sawrup, Munshi Ram, Sanjeev Kumar, Davinder Kumar, Rakesh Gupta, Varun Gupta, Ram Kumar, and others.
