MENDHAR, Apr 16: The members of OBC community held protest at Shahidi Yadgar here today.
The people under the leadership of president Backward Classes Union Mir Mohd Bhatti assembled at Shahidi Yadgar and started protest. They were protesting against the Government authorities as advocate Mohd Amin Malik Bhatti from their community was recently appointed as Public Prosecutor at Poonch recently but the said order was withdrawn within two and half months. Another candidate was now appointed at his place. They alleged that Bhatti was not allowed to complete his tenure of two years and he should be recalled.
Later, they moved to the office of SDM Mendhar and submitted a memorandum. They demanded that Bhatti be recalled and placed at the same position.
