RAJOURI, May 6: The people from Darhal and its adjoining areas held protest demonstration against the Govt demanding establishment of Munsif Court at Darhal Tehsil headquarters.
The people led by advocate Zahid S Malik assembled at Shahidi Chowk, Darhal and started protest demonstration against Govt led by day long dharna. They were demanding that a Munsif Court be established at Darhal.
Malik and several prominent people of the town addressed the gathering and said that for any minor work, they have to move to Thannamandi Court via Rajouri. There is no direct road link to Thannamandi and a road on which the work was started about a decade back, could not be completed till date. It has been abandoned by the concerned agency. They said it was a long pending demand of the people of this area. They also submitted a Memorandum to the Govt through local administration.
