UDHAMPUR, May 4: Up in arms against wrecked condition of the road, locals of Battal Ballian and adjoining areas held a protest demonstration against Public Works Department.
The protesting people raised slogans against the PWD and demanded immediate repair of the road.
Sarpanch Battal Ballian, Manmohan Raina, who was leading the protest, said that condition of the road was very miserable and they had earlier approached the district administration and concerned department many times seeking repair and black topping of the road but nothing was done in this regard.
The protesters warned to block the National Highway if repair of the road is not done immediately.
