POONCH, July 26: The people held protest demonstration against PHE authorities for water crisis in Lower Ari area and blocked Mendhar-Surankote road for over two hours.
Reports said that people from Lower Ari locality came out on the road and raised barricades. They were protesting against the failure of water supply to the area for the last one month. Later, SHO Mendhar along with AEE PHE reached the spot and they assured the people to restore water supply within two days. The people then lifted dharna after two hours.
