UDHAMPUR, Aug 21: People of Saddal villages today held a protest in front of Public Health Engineering (PHE) office on National Highway, demanding regular supply of drinking water.
People of Saddal villages presently residing at village Sui Sambal migrant camp assembled in front of the PHE office and raised slogans against the department. They alleged that they are without drinking water for last two months.
Villagers said that PHE department is not giving regular supply of drinking water due to which they are facing many problems. They said that the issue was taken up several times with the higher authorities but all in vain.
