KATHUA, July 17: The residents of Sanji Morh and adjoining areas blocked the Samba -Kathua border road today in protest against the power failure in the area.
The protesters alleged that they are without electricity for one month now as the transformer in the area had developed a snag and authorities failed to restore the same.
Later a police party of Raj Bagh Police Station reached the spot and pacified the agitating people and assured them that they will take up the issue with concerned authorities of PDD.
