KATHUA, July 12: The residents of Danarh and adjourning area held a protest demonstration and blocked Kathua-Basohli road, demanding immediate restoring of drinking water in their area.
The protesters raised slogans in support of their demands. On getting information about the protest Teshildar Avtar Singh reached the spot and pacified the protesters.
After getting assurance of regular supply from him, the protesters dispersed-off peacefully. It may be recalled that PHE Pumping Station in the area had developed a technical snag.
