KATHUA, May 21: The irate residents of Lower Shiv Nagar, today held a strong protest demonstration at pumping station, ward number 15 for not supplying water for last about 15 days.
Hundreds of residents including women including working ladies and students gathered at pumping station, ward number 15 and raised slogans against PHE Department for ignoring their sufferings in the absence of water supply. The protest was held for two hours.
Later in the day, senior officers of PHE who visited the spot assured the regular water supply in near future, but for the time being they also assured the tanker supply.
