JAMMU, Nov 9: People of Surinsar and surrounding areas have been suffering due to poor and feeble BSNL mobile service, Ashraf Hussain, a social worker of the area alleged.
He said in this modern era when mobile service is known as heart and soul of communication network, the poor BSNL signal is hampering the communication links between the people of Surinsar and various nearby villages.
He said the BSNL tower installed in Surinsar is not working for last two months. Sometimes it starts working for some hours then again becomes down.
Hussain said BSNL mobile has become more a liability than an asset and subscribers being fed up with poor BSNL mobile services are shifting to other cellular companies.
He appealed the BSNL authorities to repair the already installed BSNL tower or install a new tower to provide round the clock services to BSNL customers services otherwise people would have to come on roads.
