Pathania for professional approach to issues

JAMMU, Aug 29: People’s issues must be addressed in a time bound manner by those who have the power to do so, said Kavinder Gupta, while he made a particular reference to the directive issued to the Government departments for clearing the under-process files within seven days.
Kavinder Gupta, former Deputy Chief Minister, accompanied by former MLA and J&K BJP spokesperson, R.S. Pathania and Executive Member, Shailja Gupta was conducting grievance redressal at BJP Headquarters, here, today.
Kavinder said that all the people have their issues, which are related to their day-to-day problems, some societal and other developmental issues. The people have little choice when it come to approach to a right person or the genuine office for the prompt disposal and hence it becomes the duty of the concerned person, especially the designated department official, to immediate provide relief to those who have approached the office with high hopes. He said that the BJP, as a public party, has built up a robust grievances redressal mechanism at the party headquarter, where people approach with their issues.
Kavinder pointed out that a directive has also been issued to the Government departments by the LG administration not to keep pending the under process files more than seven days. He hailed the initiation of the mechanism and expressed hope that the people would get the desired relief in letter an in spirit.
Ranbir Singh Pathania said that the e-platforms have gone a long way to strengthen the democracy in the country. He said that now the people have a mechanism in place to file their complaints, approach the concerned officials and check out for the redressal. But, he pointed out that still the e-mechanism has to be backed up with the manual approach, while calling for a more professional approach to the issues of the common masses.
Shailja Gupta diarized the issues presented by the visiting people and said that these camps provide a good platform to the masses for many development and welfare issues.
Earlier, during the camp, various visiting people and deputations shared their day-to-day problems related to various departments under UT administration, which were taken up with the higher officials by the senior BJP leaders for appropriate and early action.
