SRINAGAR, Oct 10: Legislative Assembly today extended upto the last day of the next Session, the time for presentation of the report of the House committee “to ascertain the factual position regarding the illegal encroachment of Wet Lands for its conversion for residential purposes in Srinagar, Baramulla and Bandipore districts and conversion of Agricultural and Kahcharai land for residential and commercial purposes with particular reference to Shalteng and its adjoining areas within 10 km radius whether falling within the administrative jurisdiction of Srinagar, Baramulla or Bandipore districts.
The House also extended upto the last day of the next session the time for presentation of the Report of the Select Committee on “The Jammu and Kashmir Prohibition of Conversion of Agricultural land for Non-Agricultural purposes Bill, 2011.
