Peshin’s Athrot stages ‘Navreh Thaal’

JAMMU, Mar 19: Renowned writer and comedian, Kanwal Peshin’s Athrot Charitable, Socio Cultural Trust staged a play ‘Navreh Thaal’ as part of Navreh Milan at the Auditorium of Women College Parade, here.
The play written and directed by Kanwal Peshin included actors Jatinder Jotshi, Arvin Tickoo, Suman Bhat and Kanwal Peshin.
The play enthralled the jam-packed audiences present on the occasion.
To preserve Kashmiri culture, a variety of songs and other allied cultural items were presented by noted artists Daksh Bhat, Anjali Pandita, Chhavi Koul, Himanshu Pandita, Pranav Pandita, Anmol Raj, Rohit Bhat, which was followed by
Hari Kirtan Adyatmik Jagriti Mission, Durga Nagar, under the guidance of Bushan Lal Bhat Sharnagat.
Basant Ji and party sang 3 bhajans which were a delight to listen and watch.
Speaker J&K Legislative Assembly, Kavinder Gupta was the chief guest on the occasion, who distributed prizes to honour the artists on the occasion.
The felicitations started with the young singers and the chief guest presented medals to them and ‘kenzi khoss’ to Dr JN Raina, President Hari Kirtan Satsang Jagriti Mission, Rakesh Koul Sampooran Kashmir Sangathan, Kamal Ganjoo, Jatinder Jotshi, Arvin Tickoo and Suman Bhat.
The proceedings of the programme were conducted by renowned writer, singer, actor and anchor, Manoj Jad.
