JAMMU, Dec 16: Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Narayana Superspeciality Hospital Pvt Ltd (SMVDNSH) organized a training programme regarding benefits of Employees Provident Fund (EPF) scheme which was facilitated by Regional Provident Fund Commissioner-I, J&K and Ladakh, Rizwan Uddin.
As many as 200 officers, Nurses, Paramedical staff and Students attended the session. Rizwan was welcomed by Unit HR Head, Arvind Mahajan with a bouquet of flowers. Rizwan briefed the participants about the benefits of EPF Scheme like Employee Pension Scheme 1995 (EPS-95) as well as employee Deposit Linked Insurance Scheme (EDLI).
He informed participants about the salient features of employees deposit linked insurance scheme 1976. Under this scheme, maximum assured benefit up to Rs Seven Lakh are paid to nominee or legal heir of EPF member, if death occurs while in service, he added. He also threw some light on pension schemes.
Furthermore, he also encouraged the participants to follow their passion by setting SMART goals, Time Management and shared the mantra to achieve the goals timely. He also encouraged the staff to be focused by sharing a quote “Enjoy wherever you are as Uncertainty is certain”
He concluded the session by urging the organized workers to come forward and to avail the benefits of PF schemes. Facility Director, Muthu Mathavan fecilitated Rizwan with a memento of appreciation for organizing such a wonderful training program.
