UDHAMPUR, Apr 6: Subsidiary Training Centre (STC), Border Security Force (BSF), Udhampur organized a talk on “Motivation Through Goal Setting” under the aegis of Sandeep Channan, IG BSF.
Rizwan Uddin, PF Commissioner, Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh, was the guest speaker, who sensitized the newly recruited constables of BSF towards the relevance of goal in life.
Addressing the newly recruited constables, the PF Commissioner highlighted the relevance of “attitude”, “belief”, “action”, “dream”, “discipline” and “decision” in achieving the challenging goals.
Rizwan Uddin highlighted achievements of Regional PF Office. He informed that with support from key employers such as IRCON, NHAI, and NHIDCL, the Office recorded a remarkable growth in UAN/PF accounts from 3.60 lakh in 2020 to over 6.08 lakh in 2024-25 in J&K. “Another milestone achievement includes Jammu Zone’s recognition among the top three EPFO zones in e-nomination filings. Over 67,000 nominations were registered, out of which 52,635 were completed,” he added.
Uddin further shared that the Regional Office saw steady income growth under EPF Account-II, increasing from Rs 821 lakh in 2021-22 to Rs 967 lakh in 2023-24. He said the Office has also been actively engaged in organizing outreach seminars, webinars, and awareness drives to educate stakeholders about EPF and MP Act provisions.
Mohan Sai, Sanjoy, Priya Bharti and Aarti Bhasin of EPFO answered the queries of the participants. The talk was coordinated by Sunil Kumar, Deputy Commandant. It was highly interactive session and troops got motivated.
