JAMMU, Oct 10: J&K Employees Provident Fund (PF) Staff Welfare Association held a protest in Divisional Office, Jammu in support of their grievances of promotions and filling up of vacant posts in J&K Employees Provident Fund Organization in Jammu Division.
The protest was held under the leadership of Shamsher Singh, Acting President of the Association. District heads of the Association namely Davinder Singh, Paramjit Singh, Subash Sharma, Vishal Sharma, Vinod Kumar, Rakesh Chowdhary and Shesh Kumar were also present.
The members of the Association requested the concerned authority to redress their grievances otherwise the strike will continue.
They also stressed upon concerned authorities to create vacancies in newly strengthened district PF offices of the State so that best services can be provided to the poor workers.
Later, the protesters also submitted charter of demands to Additional PF Commissioner, Jammu for redressal.
