JAMMU, Feb 27: J&K Post Graduate Teachers in a meeting held under the chairmanship of Javed Ahmed Shapoo demanded filling up of vacant posts of lecturers and Masters in all the 10+2 schools in the State.
The meeting urged the Education Minister to fill up these posts of lecturers as students are suffering on account of non availability of lecturers in many subjects viz English, EVS, Economics, Physics, Chemistry etc.
Prominent among others who attended the meeting included Abdul Rashid Rather, Ashok Lalpuri, Parshotam Singh, Bashir Ahmed Yatoo and Nisar Ahmed Rather.
It demanded that posts be filled up among the in-service qualified and experienced teachers/ Masters so that they may get encouraged.
