MENDHAR, Sept 19: Block Medical Officer (BMO) Mendhar, Dr Parvez Ahmed Khan today placed a Pharmacist under suspension for being absent from duty for the last several days.
On the basis of complaints, the BMO visited Health Sub-Centre Chettray and found Pharmacist Shabir Ahmed absent from duty. He was also wanted by police in an attempt to murder case. He had applied for one month leave and even after that he failed to report to duty and was absent. His salary has been stopped and further action has been initiated against him.
