PHC Manjakot found locked, CMO orders probe for action

RAJOURI, Mar 26: Taking strong cognizance of the day time locking of Ayushman Arogya Mandir (AAM) PHC under Manjakot Medical Block of Rajouri district, CMO Rajouri has formed a committee and issued orders for investigation.
According to the notice issued by CMO Rajouri, Dr M L Rana, he had received a complaint that the locks were hanging during the day at the said PHC on Tuesday and the patients visiting there were facing problems.
CMO said that the video of the locks hanging during the day at the said health center has also gone viral on social media. “Not only this, news of its closure has been received many times before this as well. This time, taking strict cognizance of the matter, a special team has been constituted under the leadership of Block Medical Officer Sunderbani Dr Meena Kumari, in which Dr Naseem Akhtar, Medical Officer, Mobile Unit Rajouri and Waseen Ul Hasan Shal, Senior Assistant, have been made members and instructions have been given to conduct a thorough investigation of the matter, find out the reason for the closure during the day and identify the officers and employees responsible for this and submit a detailed report as soon as possible,’ reads the notice.
