PHDCCI delegation interacts with Industries Minister

JAMMU, Sept 28: PHD Chamber of Commerce & Industry delegation called upon Chander Prakash Ganga, Minister for Industries & Commerce today.
The delegation stressed for the establishment of a large Public Sector Undertaking in Jammu; special incentives for development of Mineral wealth of State as well as large industrial undertakings.
The Chamber also stressed upon early notification of new Industrial Policy, grant of pollution NOC, 10 years for green category, 5 years for yellow category and 3 years for orange category. The Chamber sought personal intervention of the Industries Minister for 4 laning of Jammu- Akhnoor highway, connectivity of 4th Tawi bridge to Nagbani, early establishment of AIIMS, acceleration of construction of Central University, completion of Tawi artificial lake and installation of Mubarak Mandi – Mahamaya Cable Car.
The issues pertaining to beautification and expansion of Jammu Railway Station and Airport were also discussed. The Minister assured of favourable consideration, acceleration of development works and early resolution of all issues.
The delegation was led by Vikrant Kuthiala, Chairman J&K State Committee of PHDCCI and consisted by Rahul Sahai, Deepak Daftari, Kuldeep Gupta, Prashant Mathur and Pamil Sharma.
