REASI, Nov 10: A mechanic was electrocuted when he was repairing an electric motor in a house at Gura in Salal area, here today.
The deceased was identified as Rashpal Singh, age around 50 years, son of Inder Singh, resident of Salal Kotli district Reasi. He was working as a Daily Wagers in PHE.
Reports said that the deceased was repairing a motor in a private house when he received severe electric shock. He was immediately shifted to District Hospital Reasi where doctors declared him as brought dead.
After postmortem at DH Reasi, the dead body was handed over to his legal heirs. In this case, an inquest under Section 174 CrPC has been initiated.
