SAMBA, Sept 16: The daily wagers of PHE Department Samba sat on fast unto death in support of their regularization demand in front of Deputy Commissioner’s Office here.
The fast unto death is led by president of the PHE Daily Wagers Association Samba Kulbushan Singh.
The protestors raising slogans in support of their demand said that they will not lift the fast till demand is accepted. The protests said that the Government has no regularization policy for the daily wagers as they have been working in the department for more than seven years but no steps were taken for making their services regular.
