KATHUA, May 10: The PHE daily wagers took out bare footed and half clad protest march in support of their genuine demands here, today. The protesters led by president of daily wagers body Narayan Singh assembled in front of office of Executive Engineer, PHE here and took out protest march to DC Office, Kathua.
They were raising the slogans in favour of their demands while carrying the play cards in their hands. They passed nearly through one kilometre of area in 43 degree temperature bare footed.

While addressing Narayan Singh criticized the State Government for turning deaf ear towards grievances of PHE daily wagers for which they are fighting since last one year continuously. They demanded the release of five years pending salary, regular wages on monthly basis and permanent status for them.
They warned the Government to release their pending wages otherwise they will be forced to take extreme step as they have no money to run their families and the Government will be responsible for the same.
