JAMMU, Dec 26: Public Health Engineering Department today appealed the public to register their unregistered bore wells, domestic and commercial water connections in their premises with the PHE Department.
The handout issued by Chief Engineer PHE states that all illegal/ unregistered commercial as well as domestic water connections and bore wells is an offence under the Jammu and Kashmir Water Resources (Regulation and Management) Act 2010.
The general public is advised to register their unregistered connections within 15 days falling which requisite action as warranted under the Act will be initiated against them.
