SAMBA, Aug 18: A Public Health Engineering (PHE) employee died due to cardiac arrest when he was returning to his home after performing duty here, today.
According to the report, PHE employee namely Ghara Ram, son of Bhajan Lal who is resident of village Kangwala Samba was found dead while he was returning towards home after performing duty at Over Head Water Tank at village Channi Balori near here. When local people saw him lying in unconscious condition, they immediately brought him to District Hospital Samba for treatment where doctors declared him as brought dead and the body of the deceased was kept in the mortuary room for autopsy.
After completing the legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to its legal heirs for his last rites. It is reported that the death has been caused due to cardiac arrest.
In this regard police have taken cognizance of the matter and started further investigation.
