UDHAMPUR, July 22: A deputation of PHE Employees Association, led by its provincial vice-president president Som Nath, called on the Minister for PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control Sham Lal Sharma, here today.
During meeting with the Minister, the deputation highlighted PHE employees’ problems, demands and grievances, such as regularization of daily wagers, need based and other workers; Change of designation as per nature of job being performed by them and which involves no financial implications; Holding of DPC at different levels to pave the way for filling up of the vacancies caused due to retirement of a large number of employees; and release of pending wages of the workers for the past several months.
According to a release, Sham Lal Sharma had a detailed discussion on every issue highlighted by the Association deputation and assured a positive action in this regard as early as possible.
