UDHAMPUR, Sept 21: A meeting of Water Works (PHE) Employees Association was held today at Panchari (Kainth Gali), under the chairmanship of district general secretary Vijay Sharma for highlighting the demands of PHE employees and workers.
The meet demanded release of pending wages of PHE workers, their regularization, change of designation, DPC, implementation of Minimum Wages Act and implementation of 7th Pay Commission.
Addressing the meeting, Vijay Sharma appealed the higher authorities to frame a policy for regular release of wages to the workers.
PHE employees and workers from Krimchi, Mansar, Lander, Panchari, Mongri, Dubi Gali, Ladda and other areas took part in meeting wherein an appeal was issued to all the Association members to remain united for launching a decisive struggle to get their demands fulfilled.
Those who addressed the meeting, included Makhan Chand, Sanjay Sharma, Prabhu Dayal, Raj Kumar, Janyat Ali, Kartar, Kuldeep, Shambu Nath, Mukhtya Singh Laxman Singh, Diwan Chand and Prem.
