Other demands highlighted on the occasion were shortage of staff in the department, holding DPC meeting of Mechanical Division, change of designation of workers as per nature of working and implementation of SRO 520. Som Nath said that SRO 520 was issued in the month of December 2017 but has not been implemented till date.
He also criticized the DOC order which is conducted now at chief office. He demanded that DPC should be conducted at divisional as well as provisional level. He further stressed for holding DPC 2 times in a year in Mechanical Division, Udhampur.
