JAMMU, Dec 20: The PHE employees under the banner PHE Employees United Front today held protest outside the office of Chief Engineer, in support of their pending demands.
The members of United front under the leadership of Subhash Verma, K C Dubey, Rajesh Jamwal and others assembled in the office of Chief Engineer at B C Road complex here during the day and started protest demonstration. They were raising loud slogans in support of their demands.
The protesting employees were demanding convening of DPC meeting as many employees were suffering due to stagnation. They demanded promotions as per old pattern as for the last 33 years no modification In SRO 380 has been made. They further demanded release of GPF funds of the employees.
The Front leaders demanded that salaries of the PHE permanent and daily wager employees be released regularly before 5th of every month, the field staff of the PHE be exempted from bio-metric attendance in the offices and only one Sub Division of City Division-Ist Jammu be brought under JMC.
The leaders criticized the authorities for the anti-employee attitude. They cautioned the Administration to solve their demands within 15 days otherwise, they will go for `Kam Chhor Hartal’.
