PHE ITI workers, land donors hold protest

DODA, June 11: Demanding release of their pending wages and regularization, PHE ITI workers and land donors held protest here today.
Large number of PHE ITI workers and land donors assembled at Special Sub Division Office Gandoh under the banner of Jammu and Kashmir PHE ITI Workers Association and raised slogans in favour of their demands.
While addressing the gathering, Tanveer Hussain, State President of the Association said that it is very unfortunate that daily wagers are on the roads since long time but the administration has not done anything to minimize their problem.
Tehsil President Bhallesa Zuffarullah Malik said that the Government has failed to keep its promise of releasing the pending salaries on religious festivals.
He demanded immediate release of the pending wages of the daily wagers without any delay.
Arif Choudhary, President Bhallessa Land Donors Association urged the Governor’s administration to redress their issues in the shortest possible time.
The protestors threatened to intensify their protest if their demands are not redressed at the earliest.
