SUNDERBANI, Aug 6: Mystery shrouds the death of a 40-year-old contractual employee of PHE department whose body was recovered from forest area of Sunderbani last evening.
The deceased was identified as Vijay Kumar, son of Sita Ram, resident of Kuldeh village. He was working as contractual worker with the PHE Sub Division, Sunderbani. He went missing since early morning yesterday and later his body was noticed by a villager in forest area who informed family about the matter.
Later, police party from Sunderbani reached the spot and shifted the body for postmortem to Sub District Hospital, Sunderbani. The police after completion of legal formalities handed over the body to the family. The police has started investigation into the case under section 174 CrPC.
