UDHAMPUR, Dec 2: Facing starvation after being denied their wages for the last 55 months, the PHE daily wagers have decided to intensify their struggle.
In a meeting of the workers held under the banner of Water Works ( PHE) Employees Association Udhampur, led by Som Nath, its president, the members unanimously resolved to intensify their struggle if the Government failed to release their pending wages. They said that despite several representations to the senior officers, the issue was not settled. Even a few weeks ago, the matter was taken up with the Chief Engineer PHE Jammu, SE PHE and the Deputy Commissioner Udhampur.

He appealed the workers and employees to remain united for the cause
