JAMMU, Oct 18: The delegation of the representatives of all division of PHE Workers Welfare Association under the leadership of Bakshi Singh, provincial president, met Chief Engineer, PHE Department, Jammu and apprised him about the agreement between the association and PHE authority.
The association during discussion told the Chief Engineer that there is lot of resentment among employees regarding delay in implementation. The two main issues such as regularisation of daily wager (ITI and non ITI) after five years and distribution of timely wages to the workers. The association demanded wages of workers before Diwali festival.
Other who attended the meeting were Rattan Doshi, Manzoor Ali, Bansi Lal, Mohan Lal, Ram Labhaya, Babu Singh, Ram Lal, Chuni Lal, Baldev Singh, Joginder and others.
