JAMMU, Jan 19: The PHE Workers Welfare Association (Jammu province) has urged upon the higher authorities in the department to resolve the pending issues of the workers.
In a meeting of the association held here today under the chairmanship of Subhash Verma, provincial general secretary, the members discussed the long pending issues of the workers. They demanded regularization of daily rated/ temporary workers, release of their pending wages, enhancement of daily wage rate, conduct of DPC meet and release of 6 % DA.
Prominent among those present in the meeting included Rattan Doshi, Bakshi Singh, Chuni Lal, Manzoor Ali, Bansi Lal, Ajit Singh and Kuldeep Kumar.
