JAMMU, Apr 23: A deputation of PHE Employees Association (PHEEA), Jammu Province, led by its president Shiv Kumar Sharma today met Minister for PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control, Sukhnandan Chowdhary and apprised him of their demands.
The deputation put forth various demands like implementation of minimum wages Act of PHE employees with the minister, regularization of daily wagers who have completed five years of service, release of pending wages, change of designation, creation of new posts and conducting of regular DPC, before the Minister, who assured to look into their demands.
Vinod Kumar, Ajay Sharma, Raman Kumar, Madan Lal, Surinder Khajuria, Jyoti Parkash and Varun Sharma were part of the deputation.
