UDHAMPUR, Apr 2: Water Works and Public Health Engineering Employees Association (PHEEA) held a protest demonstration at PHE Complex, here.
The demonstration was led by Som Nath Senior Vice President of the Association.
In the meeting the members unanimously criticized the attitude of the State Govt towards the workers who are without wages from last 46 months.
Mr Som Nath apart from the other pending issues demanded the immediate implementation of SRO 520 so that the workers will not suffer in future and also appealed to the government to remove qualification bar in SRO 520 as the workers are serving in the department from last 20 years.
Prominent among others who spoke on the occasion were Rattan Singh, Makhan Chand, Jagdish Magotra, Krishen Chand, Baldev Raj, Chuni Lal, Balvir Singh, Shamsher Singh, Prem Nath, Vidya Ram, Shambu Dutt and Karan Singh.
