Photo Exhibition on AKAM, G20, Mission Life starts at IB

JAMMU, Mar 24: DDC Member Suchaitgarh, Taranjeet Singh Toni today inaugurated a 2-day Photo Exhibition on Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav (AKAM), G20, Mission Life and other centrally sponsored schemes organized by Central Bureau of Communication (CBC), Regional Office Jammu at Panchayat Garh Basti Gulabgarh on International Border (IB).
The Photo Exhibition is part of various outreach activities being organized by CBC in J&K and Ladakh and it will showcase the freedom struggle of India through a series of photo frames exhibited in the exhibition.
Apart from this, special section in the exhibition has been dedicated to G20 Summit in India.
In his address DDC member emphasized on the need for unity and communal harmony in the country.
Joint Director CBC Regional Office J&K Leh, Ghulam Abbas briefed the audience about various outreach activities that will be organized during the event.
He said that these programmes are being organized so that people may get benefit of various public welfare schemes of the government.
Expert lectures from the representatives of ICDS, Health, Education and Agriculture Departments on various centrally sponsored schemes being implemented by their respective departments were also delivered.
Stalls from various departments were also installed at the venue for the benefit of the public at large. A vote of thanks was presented by Rajesh Sharma from CBC Kathua.
The programme was organized by Madam Gopal from CBC Regional Office Jammu and it culminated with prize distribution.
