Pick-pocket arrested, stolen money recovered

UDHAMPUR, Oct 8: With the arrest of accused and recovery of stolen money, Police have solved a case of pick pocketing under the jurisdiction of Police station Udhampur.
A complaint was lodged by one Madan Lal, son of f Badri Nath of Suglar Ramnagar, reporting that someone had pick pocketed Rs 8500 from him following which a case FIR was registered in the police station Udhampur.
During the course of investigation, special police teams of PS Udhampur, led by SHO Udhampur, Inspector Raghuvir Singh Choudhary, did strenuous efforts and with the help of analysis of CCTV footages of the area, succeeded in the arrest of accused person namely Parvinder Singh alias Pamu, son of Rattan Singh of Talpad Udhampur.
The stolen money was also recovered from his possession. Further investigation of the case is going on.
