KATRA, Nov 17: A Mata Vaishno Devi pilgrim from Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh, died here due to cardiac arrest while on way to the shrine Bhawan.
The deceased was identified as Rajpal (56), hailing from Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh. He fell unconscious near Sanjhi Chat, late last evening and was shifted to a local dispensary where doctors declared him as brought dead.
Later, the body was shifted to the Community Health Centre (CHC) in Katra for legal and medical formalities.
