KATRA, Apr 16: A middle aged pilgrim from Delhi died here today under mysterious circumstances at the house of his friend, where he had stayed before proceeding further towards the cave shrine.
The deceased was identified as Sachin Malhotra (45), son of Vinod Kumar Malhotra, resident of 2303 Hudson Line No. 9 Delhi. He had come to Katra for Vaishno Devi darshan and stayed at the house of his friend, namely Mohan Singh, son of Hari Chand of Ward No. 7 Katra. He suddenly felt pain and uneasiness following which his friend Mohan Singh took him to CHC Katra where doctor declared him as brought dead.
Katra Police has registered a case in this connection for further investigation.
