KATRA, Oct 5: A female pilgrim of Mata Vaishno Devi was critically injured after she fell while riding a pony near Panchi, Sanjhichat, here today.
The pilgrim, identified as Meena Devi (55), wife of Uma Rai of Barnoi, Begusrai in Bihar, sustained a critical head injury. Even as the ponywala fled the scene, some other pilgrims shifted the injured to Sanjhichat dispensary. In view of her critical condition, she was referred to CHC Katra where her husband also reached by foot.
