ANANTNAG, Dec 21: A pipping ceremony was held at the Range Police Headquarters (RPHQ) Anantnag to mark the promotion of Sheikh Ghulam Jeelani to the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DySP).
The event was presided over by DIG SKR Javid Iqbal Matoo and SSP Anantnag Dr G V S Chakravarthy, who officially presented the new rank to DySP Jeelani.
Both officers congratulated him on his promotion and praised his dedication, professionalism, and outstanding service to the department.
DIG Matoo and SSP Chakravarthy highlighted that the promotion was recognition of DySP Jeelani’s hard work and valuable contributions, urging him to maintain his high standards of excellence.
The ceremony was attended by senior police officers, who also congratulated the newly promoted DySP and commended his achievements.
