RAJOURI, Feb 21: Pir Panjal Contractors’ Association while condemning murderous attack on their association member in Bathindi area of Jammu two days ago, has demanded immediate arrest of all the culprits.
Talking to reporters here today the Association members said that the crime rate is increasing day by day in Jammu from the last few months. It is matter of grave concern.
They said the Pir Panjal Contractors Association strongly condemns attack on a reputed contractor- Amir Farooq Lone, Managing Director of A L Constructions in a well crowded area of Bathindi near Makkah Masjid in front of his office by some goons with swords, irons rods and sharp edges weapons. Such act of goons at a crowded public place is the matter of grave concern.
It is pertinent to mention here that such activities of armed goons in Jammu from last few months, are being repeated in Jammu once again as were about three decades back when Binny, Riaz, Raju Kabooterbaaz lived and used to carry on their nefarious activities.
The Association members appealed to Lt Governor Manoj Sinha and DGP, JK UT to look into the matter and order to constitute a special group of Cops to handle such growing `Gunda Raj’ in Jammu and prevent such crimes in future. They sought immediate arrest of all culprits who were involved in the attack on Farooq Lone.
