NEW DELHI, Feb 27: Pistachio prices edged up by Rs 5 per kg in the national capital today supported by fresh buying by retailers and stockists amidst restricted supplies from overseas markets.
Prices of pistachio hairati and peshwari rose by Rs 5 each to conclude at Rs 1,255-1,385 and Rs 1,380-1,405 per kg, respectively.
Marketmen said increased offtake by retailers and stockists amid restricted supplies from overseas markets, mainly pushed up pistachio prices at the dry fruit market here.

Almond (California) Rs 16,300-16,800, Almond (Gurbandi-new) Rs 9,800-10,200, Almond (Girdhi) Rs 6,600-7,100; Abjosh Afghani Rs 5,000-22,000.
Almond Kernel (California-new) Rs 600-610 per kg, Almond Kernel (Gurbandi-new) Rs 725-850 per kg. (PTI)
