Addressing the meeting Ashwani Kumar Chrungoo said PK views with serious concern the policy of Government of India in facilitating the secessionist elements of Kashmir to visit Pakistan over the years. The secessionists have used these visits to meet the forces that are inimical to the sovereignty and security of India. The visit has been used to plan and create new grounds for fomenting trouble in Kashmir Valley, he added.
He demanded that GOI should issue a white paper explaining the objectives and reasons for facilitating such visits. The GOI also needs to explain the reasons which have forced it to outsource its Kashmir policy over the years. In case it is part of Track –II parleys, then the whole process is under complete cloud, he added.
Virender Raina said that Pandits being the prime victims of terrorism in Kashmir, have the responsibility to caution the nation about the multifaceted threats emerging from the current political situation in the region.
