JAMMU, July 22: Panun Kashmir (PK) unit Chandigarh held a meeting today at Chandigarh in which the activists of PK from Union Territory, Panchkula and Mohali also participated.
The meeting was presided over by Ashwani Kumar Chrungoo, president PK who is on a three day visit to the city.
I K Kaul president KP Sabha Panchkula was the special guest on the occasion. Neeraj Atri prominent civil rights activist was the guest of honour in the programme while Shivdass Raina coordinator North India PK conducted the proceedings.
Addressing the meeting Ashwani Kumar Chrungoo said the Kashmiri Hindus who have come on the roads due to terrorism and follies of the Government, should have been on the top priority of the welfare state but the community is being forced to undergo a process of apartheid in its own country.
This has added one more responsibility to the shoulders of the activists to work for betterment of the people. Moreover the nefarious designs against the community need to be met resolutely by unleashing a consistent vigorous positive campaign about the issues of ethnic cleansing, exodus, genocide, exile, apartheid and other human rights violations that the community continues to face.
I K Kaul in his address said that the Panchkula Sabha will take full interest in the projects of PK to make a viable connection of the people with the ideology of PK. There is a big message particularly for the younger generations who ought to keep in mind that they continue to live in exile and commended the PK for keeping the issue alive.
Neeraj Atri and Shivdass Raina also addressed the meeting.
