PK opposed to any return formula except homeland

JAMMU, Sept 26: Lambasting the State Government and those forces that are creating confusion in the religiously cleansed Kashmiri Pandit Community regarding its return and rehabilitation, Panun Kashmir (PK) today reiterated that nothing short of separate homeland within Kashmir valley with UT status was acceptable to it.
Addressing the community members Sanjay Raina Co-ordinator Jagti unit PK said, consecutive State and Central Govern-ments have failed since 1990 in protecting the right to limb and life of the community when Islamic theo -fascists aided and abetted by Pakistan have launched a continuous onslaught against the Kashmiri Pandit Community. They have failed in their Constitutional duty to uphold the Indian nationhood and the rights of the religious minorities in the State of Jammu and Kashmir.
He said that various proposals of so-called twin city were floated by the vested interests are meant to give breathing space to the forces who inflicted holocaust and genocide against KPs.
He said PK’s stand on return and rehabilitation in a separate homeland has been vindicated and recent attacks on Pandits in Haal Pulwama and other places uphold this stand.
Chand Ji Pandita another coordinator said the only solution and model that can envisage safe return and rehabilitation of the KPs in the original habitants is carving out a separate homeland.
He also warned against the revocation of AFSPA and disbanding of VDCs in view of increasing militant attacks.
