PK pledges to redouble efforts for achieving homeland

JAMMU, Dec 28: An activist’s meet of Panun Kashmir was held on the occasion of Homeland Day, here today.
The participants reiterated their pledge to redouble their efforts in achieving the much cherished goal of Homeland in Kashmir valley.
The participants said that all these years in exile, they have stood up to the forces of exclusion and persecution, adding despite odds, they have pursued dignity, honour and excellence in exile.
“We have created a vision to reverse our exile completely and permanently”, participants added.
“Panun Kashmir is a response to Jihad and fundamentalism of any nature. Panun Kashmir is a response to exclusivism. It is a response of a civilization under assault to stand on its own and is a clarion call to the nation of India to desist from abandoning its civilizational and political frontiers. Panun Kashmir is a movement to stop the nation state from the pursuit of compromises with communalism in the hope of an evasive peace”, activists of Panun Kashmir informed.
Among others present on the occasion were O N Trisal, Senior Leader; Kuldeep Raina, general secretary; PN Raina, SK Kitchloo, Om Jee, Raja Jee Tickoo, Sanjay Moza, Rajesh Bagati, MK Dhar, JL Raina and BJ Marhatta,.
Meanwhile, in a separate programme, Panun Kashmir, under the presidentship of Vijay Bhat celebrated the Homeland Day with concern, here today.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Bhat said that the Margdarshan Resolution 1991 was the only Political idiom of the community.
While hailing historic victory of the Nationalist forces in J&K, he called upon the Election Commission of India to make the process of voting easy for Kashmiri Pandits.
He assured the community that this Geo-Political aspiration will soon see the light of the day and said that Panun Kashmir carries all the ingredients of International law.
