JAMMU, Dec 26: Panun Kashmir (PK) today warned that it will not allow any body to play with the interests of the community on the name of so-called return and rehabilitation formula and will launch a forceful movement against the same.
Addressing a meeting of the PK activists here today its general secretary Kuldeep Raina said that PK is all set to give a comprehensive socio-political and cultural direction to the religiously cleansed KP community on the Margdarshan Day falling on December 28.
Accusing the Government of playing with the sentiments and aspirations of the displaced Pandits leading an exiled life for 22 years now, Raina said that community agenda will be announced on Margdarshan Day convention and PK is all set to take the community out of the sense of dejection and intimidation being inflicted upon it by the forces who want to annihilate the cultural and civilizational moorings of KPs.
He said the challenges being faced by the community at all levels ranging from social to political and economic to religious will be discussed and future plan for meeting the same will be chalked out in the seminar and a resolution will be adopted reaffirming the faith in Margdarshan resolution passed in 1991 which stands for carving out a separate homeland in Kashmir Valley for settlement of over seven lakh Pandits with free flow of Indian Constitution.
