JAMMU, Oct 11: Avi Softwares conducted pool placement drive at Yogananda College of Engineering & Technology (YCET) in Jammu for the students of YCET, MIET, and University of Jammu.
Avi Softwares is product engineering, technology and consulting services provider that partners with organizations to achieve business and digital transformation for them. Leveraging its cross functional knowledge, deep sector expertise and wide-ranging specializations in fields including product engineering, digitization, hyper-automation, DevOps, cybersecurity and data science, the company’s mission is to fast-track innovation through each step of the value chain.
For Avi Softwares a total of 35 students were shortlisted for the first round. At the end of the grueling selection process, which included a written test, technical interview, etc. total seven students were selected among which three of them were selected for training cum placement and four were selected for direct placement. These students will joinwith the final annual package of Rs 4 lakhs approx. Three students were selected from YCET, one from MIET and three from University of Jammu.
The program was conducted by the Placement Cell of Yogananda College of Engineering and Technology, Jammu. Many officials from the company and Yogananda College of Engineering and Technology were involved to properly drive the placement process. Yogananda College of Engineering and Technology is leading the effort to give the students of Jammu a chance to have a firsthand experience of placement drives.
Avinash Kumar– Director, Avi Softwares, M/s Akanksha Mengi – HR, Dheeraj Kumar, Shabir Ahmed and Ishfaq Dar – Software engineer hailed the efforts put by the college in nurturing and exploring the young minds for a better tomorrow.
Jamwal Group of Educational Institutions (JGEI), Jammu Chairman Er. Vidhi S. Singh Jamwal, Vice-Chairman Shiv Dev Singh Jamwal, Managing Director Er. Renu Bangroo, Dr. Mukesh Kumar Rana Director,YCET and Chief Coordinator Er. B.R Verma congratulated the selected students. The placement drive was coordinated by the HOD of CSE department Er. Robin Kumar, Placement Coordinator CSE, Anshu Sharma and Assistant Training & Placement officer Manjula Sharma whereas the placement drive was organized by Er. Dinesh Gupta, Head, Training and Placement Cell of YCET.
